A totally uncommitting traverse. Escapes for tea breaks are possible at many points. 1 — (30m), 4b. Pitch Black, first pitch (please see route description under La Corbiere to Le Bigard — Central Buttress). 2 — (12m), 5a. Pitch Black, second pitch (please see route description under La Corbiere to Le Bigard — Central Buttress). 3 — (21m), 4b. Traverse left ward across Central Slab, then slightly down to the top of The Blowhole (please see route description under La Corbiere to Le Bigard — The Main Cliff). Step onto the vertical wall, and traverse left to belay around the arête. 4 — (28m), 4c. Traverse across the large slab, then move down the ramp of Spare Rib (please see route description under La Corbiere to Le Bigard — The Main Cliff), and left to a good belay crack below an overhang. 5 — (38m), 5b. Traverse left along a dirty ledge to the black dyke of Botany Bay (please see route description under La Corbiere to Le Bigard — The Main Cliff). Move 15 feet down this, then left onto a thin tongue of gneiss. Move with difficulty into the thin crack 12 feet to the left (crux of Indian Summer, please see route description under La Corbiere to Le Bigard — The Main Cliff, possible good hanging belay). Move leftward 20 feet, then finish up the groove as for Autumn Madness (please see route description under La Corbiere to Le Bigard — The Main Cliff).
